Mawu is a creator goddess, associated with the sun and moon in Dahomey mythology. “Mawu’s themes are creativity, Universal Law, passion, abundance, birth, and inspiration. Her symbols are clay and the moon. As a mother figure, Mawu inspires the universe’s abundance and every dreamers imagination.
Made with water from the Atlantic Ocean, Fluid Acrylic Paint, Air (air gun) and Fire (torch). My work is inspired by the repeating patterns in nature and our connection to the all encompassing force of life.
